Vegan, Gluten-Free, No Dairy - Which are you?
Updated: Feb 20, 2020
There are so many people who have eliminated foods that 100 years ago we had nothing to do with. Why? Because of the harm it causes our bodies. Many suffer for years, get on several medications, try one diet after the other before finding answers. Children are having difficulty focusing and learning due to the over processed, high sugar, quickly available foods parents chose to give them. All of which catch up, or will eventually become major health concerns. It is scary really. Limited regulation and education around what is in our food these days.
With all the staggering facts, and simply not feeling right after eating certain foods, I have a very restricted diet so that I can perform my best each day. Recently, I decided to remove dairy from my diet. I have been gluten-free for about 4 years. (With the occasional pizza a few times a month, because, well I believe in keeping sanity and good quality probiotic handy!)
I can tell a huge difference in how I feel not eating dairy. Just like the way I felt when I stopped the gluten. One thing I will tell you, not all gluten-free foods are healthy or better for you. READ THE INGREDIENTS! Corn starch is not nutritious. And you still want to be eating grains regularly. Organic! It is affordable. It is worth searching for.
I am interested in learning how many of you are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, carnivore diet, etc. Please share with me what a day looks like for you, or what a trip to the grocery store might be like! It is very intriguing to me, and might help someone else who sees it.
